Team Rector: Elstree and Boreham Wood (17 Sept)
Not evangelical by conviction, but the advert doesn’t have any obvious keep-out signs. Advert includes video plea from Bishop (recognition of need).
Vicar: St James, Barnet (25 Sept)
Lack of interest on first round. New Wine connection and claims “evangelical” but may have drifted somewhat away from orthodox evangelical faith. Former incumbent did not re-join DEF when we re-constituted. Patronage CPT (CPAS). Active church.
Vicar: St Luke’s Bricket Wood (28th Sept)
Originally a daughter church of Holy Trinity Frogmore. Patronage is CPAS. Could do with a confident evangelical ministry.
House for Duty: South Mimms with Ridge (24th Sept)
“Middle of the road” but the first line of the advert asks for a priest who will help “by leading us in the Christian faith (sermons, study groups) in an accessible way.” Diocesan Board of Patronage.
