This is a community forum for DEF Members.  Only DEF members can join.

The intention for the forum is that members can introduce themselves to one another online and share questions or advice about matters which arise in the life of the churches.  I am creating a number of smaller groups which should appeal to people with similar contexts or ministries, e.g Church Wardens or Clergy.  Communication within these groups is not shared outside the groups.

To begin, simply post any question or comment and other members will be able to see it and respond.  You will be notified by email if someone responds, but your email address will never be shared.  Simply return to the website to read the full response and continue the conversation.

As well as sharing conversation, users should be able* to create and work together on documents like this one – just select “Docs” from the menu under your name or within one of the groups and select “Create New Doc.”  If you want to keep it private – e.g. within the group – please ensure you save it only to the group and limit access accordingly.  The options are fairly straightforward.

You can search for content in the conversations, too.  You are therefore advised to add tags to docs and to ensure that new docs are clearly identified as relating to a particular item e.g. music, LLF, recruitment, theology etc.
